About Altadena Stables
- Owner: Desdy Baggott
- Established in 1921, we are the finest public horse boarding and riding lesson facility in the area. Adjacent to miles of magnificent trails we offer all the amenities, including large lighted riding ring, driving track, and two caretakers in residence.
Meet our trainers
Teri Botfield comes from a family that has been involved with horses for generations. She grew up riding, showing, and as an adult, training for her father, a well known West Coast trainer. She understands the physical and psychological relationship between horse and human. She combines her experience as a credentialed teacher with a Masters Degree in Psychology to create a very positive approach.
Teri's and Janell's combined years of experience bring a wealth of knowledge to Altadena Stables. With these skills they are able to communicate effectively with horses and students. Whatever your equestrian goals, they are here to support and encourage you.
